	Bijna Blind (Almost Blind) is a short documentary about a young man who lives with the fear of turning suddenly blind. In his own unique way he tries to control his world and safe his visual memories. Bijna Blind is a stunning, sometimes shocking but mostly eccentrically funny portrait of a man who prepares himself for his future.

	* Willem Baptist won in 2007 tijdens het Nederlands Film Festival met zijn documentaire ‘Bijna Blind’ de NFTVM Vers IV- juryprijs. De jury bestaande uit Marcel Musters (acteur), Joost de Vries (producent – Lemming Film), Jolein Laarman (scenarist Zusje van Katia /Tussenstand) en Sandor Soeterman (editor) oordeelde dat zij graag een nieuwe film van Willem Baptist wilde zien. Aan deze prijs is een geldbedrag, een waardecheque van € 10.000,- aan facilitaire middelen verbonden bij Filmmore en Cam-a-lot.
